Director of Programs Interview

Description:  This position requires a Bachelor's degree in an area related to hospitality, communications and/or marketing or equivalent work experience with a minimum of ten years experience in planning major meetings.  Candidate must have expertise in using technology and computer-based systems for meeting planning and office management, excellent analytical and organizational skills along with excellent oral and written communications skills.  This position also requires travel to annual session each year for approximately 2 weeks, 2 to 3 trips per year to other meetings for 3 to 4 days each and working weekends as workload requires.  Experience working with volunteers, and planning association meetings.  The responsibilities include but are not limited to administering all activities within the department in keeping with established policies and procedures in order to reach the goals of the Association and the Executive Council in an efficient manner and within the established budget.
